Loveseat Power Recliner


On April 28, 2013 we bought a loveseat power recliner & a 3 Year in Home Service Program. In February/March of 2015 I discovered the middle section cupholder/pillow was ripping. I called the store located at 1030 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose, CA - 408-265-5800 and they told me to call their service center at 408-283-5588. I called and the loveseat was picked up in March. Since March I have called the Service Center numerous times, since May of this year I have called 10 times. I have been told the technician isn't in to ask a question, the computer system is down, they are waiting for the part and many other excuses. The employees at the Service Center are not interested in helping us get our loveseat fixed and back in our house. On nearly every phone call the Service Center has told me they would call me back but I have only been called back once I have always had to call back to get the information. On June 9th I was told the part was being shipped from Michigan on July 3rd. I called on July 16th and I was told the part had arrived that day only to be told later on in the day that the part was on backorder. I have called the store where we purchased the loveseat and complained. I have called the executive offices of LazBoy and complained but no one is willing to get our loveseat fixed. In June they brought us a manual loveseat to use but I want my power loveseat and I still have not been told when I can expect the loveseat to be repaired and returned to our home. I will never buy another piece of furniture at LazBoy. The store and the executive office of LazBoy have all told me that the Service Centers are independently owned but in my opinion LazBoy should not offer the Service Program if they have no control over that Service Program. When and if I ever get the Loveseat back I am going to sell it because I don't want any furniture from LazBoy in my home.
